Thank you for considering Kim Bolen McGrew, MA, LPA, LCAS for the opportunity to be your therapist. Kim manages her own schedule and will do her best to accommodate appointment time preferences. Kim is often meeting with clients during the day, though you are welcome to leave a detailed message on her confidential voicemail, send an email, or complete the contact form on this website. She will do her best to respond to your message by the end of the next business day.

Information about policies and procedures will be sent to you after your appointment time is confirmed. You will be emailed an invitation to the secure client portal where you can complete your intake paperwork and electronically sign consent forms conveniently online. Kim's office is located in Landfall Executive Suites, a professional office complex with many types of businesses and practitioners, which offers anonymity and confidentiality to clients. If you request a virtual session, a link to the telehealth meeting will be sent to you in advance.

Your first session will be an intake assessment, which lasts approximately 60 minutes. Kim strives to provide a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere where you can openly discuss your concerns. This initial session is designed to thoroughly evaluate your history, emotional and behavioral concerns, and determine treatment goals together. 

Follow-up sessions last approximately 50 minutes, with a few minutes reserved at the end of each session to schedule appointments and collect your copayment, if applicable. Kim's therapeutic approach is empathic and compassionate, while also providing direct feedback to teach problem-solving strategies and coping skills. The therapeutic relationship is collaborative and provides respect and unconditional positive regard as the foundations of treatment.
